Black Derbys – Sharper and More Urban

Switch to black derbys and the dynamics change instantly. The black color creates a clearer contrast against the jeans, and suddenly the outfit feels more graphic, more defined, and somewhat more polished. The vest transitions from feeling sporty to becoming part of something more structured. 

Brown Loafers – Soft and Effortless Elegance

With brown loafers, the look lands in something natural and carefully balanced. The knitted sweater and vest already have a relaxed character, while the loafer enhances it in a more formal way without making the overall look too strict. Brown leather against dark denim also adds warmth at the bottom. Less of a "casual Friday" vibe than derbies and sneakers, and perhaps more suitable for a meeting followed by dinner.
