How to use a steamer on your clothes
Steaming clothes is easier than many people think, and it also saves time and the garments themselves. Below is a short guide on how to achieve the best results.

How to use a steamer:
STEP 1. FILL AND START THE STEAMER
Fill the water tank and connect the steamer. Use ordinary tap water as long as the water quality is not too hard and rich in calcium, if so we recommend specially developed water, so-called steam water, here from Steamery.
STEP 2. PREPARE THE GARMENT
Shake and hang the garment on a hanger, close any buttons and zippers.
STEP 3. STEAM THE GARMENT
Wait for the indication that the steamer is ready, then hold down the start button and see how the steam is forced out of the nozzle. Grasp the lower edge of the garment and gently stretch the fabric. Then press the nozzle from the within the inside of the garment, directly against the fabric. Continue to stretch the garment while steaming by holding the fabric. Remember to protect your hands from the hot steam. Save details such as collars and cuffs at the end, just like when you iron.
STEP 4. LET REST BEFORE USE
Let the garment hang on a hanger and cool for a few minutes before use.

WHAT IS A STEAMER?
In a steamer, water vapour, with a temperature of almost 100 degrees Celsius, is pressed through a steam nozzle. When the steam is forced through the fabric at high speed, the fibres swell, soften and regain their original shape. The clothes thus become soft, compliant and wrinkle-free. The steam is also gentle on the garment and makes colours and reinvigorates the fabric.
WHAT CAN I STEAM?
A steamer can be used on almost all types of textiles, both sensitive synthetic materials and knitted sweaters (except leather and suede). The steamer refreshes at the same time as odour, dirt, dust and bacteria are remove. In other words, you save both the number of washes and the garment itself.
